The Bachelor of Secondary Education program prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and values appropriate for a career in private and public secondary level school education. Our program also trains our students with motivation and competence as they learn the content and pedagogy of secondary education. Students have the option to major in English, Mathematics, or Science. After successfully completing all the program’s academic requirements, graduates of program should be able to practice the teaching profession in the secondary level.

Future Careers

Graduates of our Secondary Education program may find themselves working as secondary school teachers in public and private schools. They may also hold management and leadership positions, should they pursue a master’s and doctorate degree. Finally, they can also work as college teachers or enter public service.
